Chilli 'Padron' is a strong, upright plant producing chilli peppers traditionally used in Spanish tapas bars. Pick them when young and green for a mild flavour, or leave them to mature and turn red for more heat. Chilli ā€˜Padron’ will keep producing peppers all summer if regularly harvested, and the young fruits are delicious stir-fried, grilled or stuffed. Mature fruits have a Scoville heat rating of 8,000 SHU.
