Rudbeckia Seeds 'Cappuccino'

  • Vivid daisy flowers over many weeks
  • Ideal for cutting
  • Flowering from mid-summer into autumn; equally striking in a sunny border or as cut flowers

Sowing Indoors

Almost fill a seed tray with moist seed compost. Sow seeds thinly over the surface, and lightly cover them with a little more compost. Place in the warmth, around 20°C and keep moist.

Growing On

Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant 5cm apart into trays of potting compost.

Hardening Off / Planting Out

Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when danger of frost has passed. Allow 45cm between plants.

Aftercare

Keep well-watered, especially during warm, dry spells and feed regularly with a liquid plant food. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage further blooming.
