Produces a profusion of pink trumpet-like blooms among attractive leaves. It’s great for mixing with perennials in a sunny border.

This weigela grows to a height of up to 60cm (24ins) and spreads to around a metre (39in) and forms a mounded shape. It’s popular with pollinating insects too.
